Brooklyn brews continue to be the Claude Rains of beers: headliners without a face.
This year, Brooklyn has made a decidedly fiendish brew. Salty, but sweet. Bitter, yet comforting. All in all it's a taste which could satisfy any swiller's whims. What appeals most is the yielding nature of the flavors.
Traditionally dry-hopped for a snappy aroma of hops, lemongrass, pine and citrus fruit, this brew boasts a robust bitterness. What you'll remember is the clean finish; while the high IBUs may be less memorable.
Pairs well with Volcano Suns and Superchunk singles.
