Second blistering prog-punk wax by Dr. Hugh Tackleberry, Vinnie Van Go-Go & Fred R. Groth. Motorcycle Shoes is a song about Rodney King, that explores the accessories of power and the violence that is a part of that as well. Label artwork by Jack Lawrence. Cover photo of metal thing in local park [not actually a rake/spade handle] by Vicki Ellison. There was a weird video thing that featured the aforementioned non-rake/spade handle. Recorded at the Station in MD with almost nonexistent levels at times. The harsh midrange drone you hear is Dr. Hugh's bass. The room we recorded in was about the size of a typical bathroom with all of the instruments pointing at eachother. And, as always, live vocals -- cause that's the way VvGg did it. Moto Shoes features a number of samples from tapes, including a drunk rant by a former President of prestigious Virginia-based university.
